About Us
The George B. Wallace Family Organization is currently a one-man operation initiated and maintained by me, Jeff Hardy. I live with my wife and three children in Springville, UT, and work as an assistant professor of history at BYU. My specialty is Russia and the Soviet penal system in particular, but I am also very interested in the history of Mormonism and in family history. Over the past several years I have been slowly acquiring material relating to the life of my great-great-great-grandfather, George B. Wallace (I come through the Martha Davis-William Denny Wallace line), in the hopes of one day publishing a biography of our esteemed ancestor. The purpose of this website is to share what I have collected with fellow descendants of GBW and hopefully discover from them additional information.
