How You Can Help
1. Volunteer additional information concerning the life of George B. Wallace.
2. Provide birth and death dates of descendants (grandchildren and great-grandchildren especially) not already found on this website or submit biographical sketches of Wallace's children.
3. Correct inaccurate information presented on this website. I am sure that (hopefully only minor) errors exist and I would be most grateful to those who take time to fact-check my work.
4. Identify the location of primary-source documents created by or relating to George B. Wallace. This would include his originals diaries, along with any letters, pictures, or other documents or artifacts that still survive. Although my hope is to be able to collect such items and donate them to a public repository (such as the Special Collections division of the BYU library) so that all of GBW's descendants can freely access them, I would be happy just to see them firsthand.
5. Volunteer to help improve the website. I am still a novice when it comes to website design and would welcome assistance from someone more qualified.
6. Propose ways to improve and expand the operations of the George B. Wallace Family Organization. I have in mind organizing a reunion to coincide with the 200-year anniversary of his birth, and would appreciate any advise or assistance in that regard.
7. Donate! Any assistance you can provide to help defray the cost of web hosting and future research would be greatly appreciated. This is for me a labor of love, but it does require some funding.
8. Tell fellow descendants about the website. |
